DESCRIPTION OF CHRONICLE

SETTING:
The Era of the New Galactic Empire in 134 ABY, during the Second Imperial Civil War.

At the close of the Sith-Imperial War, Darth Krayt and the One Sith executed a coup against Emperor Roan Fel. The One Sith rule openly, under the direction of Darth Krayt. The Moff Council holds to their allegiance to the Sith Lord, granting him the power over much of the known galaxy.

The Jedi have suffered horribly, with the Massacre at Ossus and the beginning of the Third Jedi Purge. More than half their number have fallen to Imperial forces and the lightsabers of the Sith. Those that remain are hunted throughout the galaxy. Many blame them for assisting in the machinations of the Yuuzhan Vong, and the dashed hopes of the worlds devastated during the Yuuzhan Vong War.

The remaining Yuuzhan Vong have largely disappeared into hiding, fleeing the wrath of those who blame them for the devastation of the Yuuzhan Vong War and subsequent horrors that erupted on the planets slated for restoration.

The Knights of the Empire continue to serve Emperor Roan Fel faithfully, however, many of their number have fallen to the forces of the Sith. Cracks have begun to develop in their Order, and many have lost hope after losing so many of their comrades.

The galaxy dwells in a dark time, filled with tyranny and war.

PLOTS:
At least one over-arcing plot will tie the chronicle together. Smaller plots will emerge and be solved within a duration of a few game sessions.

Force Users:
A major plot arc focuses on the survival of the Jedi in a time when the Order is being actively hunted, and on the difficulty on advancing, due to the lack of mentors. There will be temptation to ally with the Sith, to avoid death. There will also be adventures focused on hunting down ancient Jedi lore, and acquiring knowledge from holocrons.

Thus, alternate Force Traditions are discouraged.

XP AWARD GUIDELINES:
Experience will be awarded at the end of each session, and the total will often be a third of the total needed for the next level.

NEW CHARACTERS:
See the Character Creation section. All new characters will begin at one level below the previous character portrayed by that player.

INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT:
While I dislike speaking on the subject, as I would hope that everyone involved is a mature adult, and able to handle a role playing game, it has been brought to my attention on certain forums that there is a small percentage of players who cannot behave themselves.

Thus, the Inappropriate Conduct Rule is designed, not only to avoid bad situations, but also to protect the integrity of the game and protect the players. Horseplay and a modicum of apparent rudeness is allowed due to friendly banter. Brief conversations over rules are allowed.

What is not allowed is screaming over the Skype channel, spamming in any chat window, etc. Such obviously inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the game and all communications mediums. Depending on the severity of the situation, players may be allowed to return at the next game, or they may be completely banned and blocked from further communication.
