Character Creation

I. Abilities -
All Ability scores will be generated through a point-buy system. You have 25 points to purchase the scores.

II. Species -
Several species have been removed from consideration due to their reclusive nature, non-existence during the Legacy Era, or because they do not fit with the theme of a serious campaign.

Species benefits are applied after Attributes are purchased. 

The following species are allowed:

Core Rulebook: Humans, Bothans, Cereans, Duros, Gungans, Ithorians, Kel Dor, Mon Calamari, Quarren, Rodians, Sullustans, Trandoshans, Twi'leks, Wookies, Zabrak

Clone Wars Campaign Guide: Gen'Dai, Iktotchi, Kaleesh, Nautolans, Vurk

Galaxy at War: Barabel, Trianii, Zygerrian

Galaxy of Intrigue: Bith, Defel, Givin, Gotal, Neimoidian, Umbaran

Knights of the Old Republic: Arkanian, Cathar, Draethos, Feeorin, Khil, Selkath, Snivvian

Legacy Era: Chagrian, Chiss, Klatooinian, Nagai, Weequay, Zeltron

Scum and Villainy: Clawdite, Falleen, Gand, Ryn, Ubese

III. Classes -
All of the classes from the Core Rulebook are available.
Prestige classes are on a case-by-case basis.

V. Feats -
All Feats from the Core Rulebook are available. Additional Feats are on a case-by-case basis.

VI. Advancement -
All characters start off at 2nd Level. Characters may be single class, or may have two separate classes.

Hit Points for each additional level after first is rolled until a result of at least half-maximum is achieved. Thus, a d8 Hit Dice will never result in less than 4 hp a level, before the Constitution bonus is applied. Rolls will be performed online.

VII. Equipment -
All standard Equipment from the Core Rulebook is available. Military and Illegal rated equipment is not available at creation, unless you also purchase a license. Equipment from additional books will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Each character begins with a number of credits based on their Class, per level.

Class:         Amount per Level:
Jedi                600 credits
Noble           2400 credits
Scoundrel     1500 credits
Scout           1500 credits
Soldier         1500 credits

Example: a character that takes 2 levels of Soldier would begin with 3000 credits, while a Noble/Scoundrel would start play with 3900 credits.

VIII. Records -
Characters will be kept in an online format, with access by the player and the Game Master.

IX. Downtimes -
On occasion, between games and adventures, the characters will have a period of days to weeks of time that they are not actively engaged in adventuring. At such time, the Game Master may choose to run exclusive scenes for one or more characters, advancing various plot arcs.

X. Background -
A short background of your character is required, between one and five paragraphs is sufficient.

XI. Portrait - 
A portrait representing your character is also required. This will also be used to generate your character's token on the map, and used for your character's bio on the PC Page.
